  • On April 12th, MHS will participate in GLSEN’s Day of Silence.  It is a national youth movement highlighting the silencing and erasure of LGBTQ people at school.  If you would like to participate stop by J-4 or T5 before 1st block to sign up.  You will be making a pledge to stay silent the whole day to illustrate the voices that won’t be heard that day.
  • Congrats to the boys golf team for winning the district championship on Friday at Tangle Ridge.... this was the 10th district championship out of the past 11 years! Good job Garrett Honeycutt, Dax Wilson , Casey Cull, Chris Montana, and Ryan Hailey ... also good job Cameron Beck for advancing to regionals as a medalist and extra congrats goes out to Casey Cull for taking low medalist honors!! Great job boys golf!!!!
  • Mansfield Powerlifters please plan on attending a brief meeting at 3:-05 pm Thursday, April 11th at Coach Trotter's office. If you cannot be there, please talk to Coach Trotter.
  • Make sure to come to the African Student Associations meeting today during advisory! Do it for the culture!
  • Seniors! On Thursday, May 2nd Mansfield high will have its first ever Decision Day. This will be an opportunity for you to be recognized in an academic signing day ceremony. If you would like to be a part of this event, you need to sign up by scanning the QR code on the decision day flyers that are posted around the school or stop by Mrs. Trotter's room in D3. There will be cake and photo opportunities.
  • Congratulations to the Mansfield girls track team for their strong performance yesterday at the district track meet.  Jill Johnson won her 4th consecutive district High jump title and she will be looking to win her 2nd consecutive state championship.   Allison Stigarll placed 2nd in the discus and Elizabeth Butzke qualified for the area meet in the 3200-meter run.   Top JV runners were Olivia James, Emily Horton and Macie Paterson. The Lady tigers will wrap up their district completion this Friday.
  • Wanting a hardy chuckle? Looking for a grand ol’ time? Well for just $3 at the MHS PAC, Improv will be having a show at 7pm this Friday. Hope to see you there for some unforgettable jokes!
  • Today is GLSEN’s Day of Silence.  It is a national youth movement highlighting the silencing and erasure of LGBTQ people at school.  Nearly 9 in 10 LGBTQ students experience verbal harassment and almost 1/3 miss school for feeling unsafe or uncomfortable.  Think about the voices you are not hearing today.
